1.Use approximately 20 inches of floss and wind most of it
around one of your two middle fingers. This finger will take up
the floss as it becomes dirty.
2.Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and the forefingers
to extract more from flossing.
3.Guide the floss between your teeth using a gentle rubbing
motion.
4.Do not snap the floss into the gums, it will cut into the gum and
leave linings or infections.
5.Once the floss reaches the gum line, curve it into a C shape
against one tooth and slide it into the space between the gum
and
the tooth as a forward-6.backward, up-down motion.
7.Repeat this procedure on the rest of your teeth. |
